The timing chain tensioner for the Suzuki Grand Vitara XL-7
Removal and installation procedure for the timing chain tensioner number 1 refer to the section mechanical engine applicable manual Service Suzuki. Reseal the cover front chain timing, as indicated in the ' TSB ' 06 02244R2. ADJUSTER TENSIONER ASSEMBLY (# 1) MACRO ASSEMBLY ADJUSTER TENSIONER (# 1) LOWER RIGHT FRONT SIDE of the ENGINE. FRONT TIMING CHAIN COVER RESEAL 1. Clean sealing surface to cover temporary chain, from the crankcase, the cylinder block and cylinder heads.
