The timing chain tensioner for the Suzuki Grand Vitara XL-7

Removal and installation procedure for the timing chain tensioner number 1 refer to the section mechanical engine applicable manual Service Suzuki. Reseal the cover front chain timing, as indicated in the ' TSB ' 06 02244R2. ADJUSTER TENSIONER ASSEMBLY (# 1) MACRO ASSEMBLY ADJUSTER TENSIONER (# 1) LOWER RIGHT FRONT SIDE of the ENGINE. FRONT TIMING CHAIN COVER RESEAL 1. Clean sealing surface to cover temporary chain, from the crankcase, the cylinder block and cylinder heads.Remove the oil, Old adhesive and sealing surface with dust. 2. apply adhesive "and": 1207F Suzuki Bond (# 99000-31250) to cover temporary chain sealing surface, as shown in the figure. Ensure the proper adhesive bead. Do not over apply.
