How to Install T-Tap connectors: Place the wire in the “V” side of the metal “V”. Now fold the T-touch one and tighten with pliers to T-tap locks and stays together. NOTE: The T-TAP pierce the cable insulation making contact with the wire inside. Preparation: Make sure all the flashing lights working before starting the installation. If you have a light that went on to replace it and that could be misleading and cause problems later troubleshooting. Inside the trunk, remove the rear trim panel to expose the wiring to the taillights and nuts. Remove the three 11mm nuts on each rear light gray disconnect each plug then remove the taillight from the car, and place them on a workbench to replace light socket. New light socket connection, the same for both sides. Locate the light socket closest to the license plate. This connector has two cables Black and a blue / green band. Cut the three wires about an inch away from the wall light, light bulb out in the light socket and throw new light socket of age. Now strip the three wires in the harness. NOTE: Some cable harness has only one Black. Reconnect the main harness plug gray. Now, with emergency lights, cut one of the Red / White band wire halfway between the plug and rubber gray Black boy. Note that the light stopped flashing. Note: you will be half or external light stops blinking. Connect the unit with the rear passenger side, inside the trunk with the cable between the plug and the boy gray Black rubber. Using a T-tap and connector PUSH man, connect the red / white band that was cut above and still attached to the rubber cable Black boy to gray (unit).
