About Daihatsu Sirion manual

The Daihatsu Sirion is a one litre three cylinder petrol engine available with either an automatic or manual transmission. It’s available only as a five door hatch back in one specification level. Standard features included dual airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, electric windows, power mirrors, central locking and an impact sensing door
lock release system. Daihatsu expect to sell around 400 vehicles per month at $11,490.00 for the manual and $13,090.00 for the automatic. Available options include air conditioning and anti-lock brakes.
Engine – Three cylinder, 989 cc displacement, double overhead cam, fuel injected, four valves per cylinder. Fuel tank capacity 40 litres.
Transmissions – Five speed manual, four speed automatic.
Suspension – Front – MacPherson strut with coil springs. Rear – Semi independent torsion beam with coil springs.
Brakes – Front ventilated discs, rear drums.
Security – The Sirion has minimal security protection, i.e. no engine immobliser or security coded radio. The NRMA Theft Resistance Score is 15/100.
Body – Welded mono constructed, bolt on front guards, bonnet lock panel and front chassis tie bar.
