Removing the transmission and the installation of the Volkswagen VW Golf (1996)
Disconnect all connections to the transaxle. Seat harnesses set-aside. On models equipped with a V6 engine, remove the multifunction switch Transaxle range (TR). On all models, move the lever to the position of the selector Park. Disconnect the cable from the selector lever/lever shaft selector. Delete a selector lever circlip anchor cable and remove the selector lever in the cable. Using the appropriate clamp off ATF cooler hoses. Disconnect the cables in the ATF cooler. Supports the engine and transaxle Assembly from the upper part of the vehicle with the appropriate support for fixtures.
