All models have been equipped with an evolution of the previous 5-speed manual transmission with gear ratios optimized for drive-ability whilst ensuring good fuel economy. Key improvements include a revised clutch pedal stroke, a carbon-type synchronizer (3rd gear) to minimize shift load and crisper shifting through reduced clutch disc inertia resulting in overall improved refinement. The all-new 5-speed automatic transmission delivers engine power in a balanced way ensuring both smooth shifting whilst providing sufficient torque and power in each gear for easy overtaking.
