Instructions for installing the model SmartMAP SM-300-xxx

What is the SmartMAP?
SS-300 model SmartMAP is replaced by the control valve and throttle Assembly that uses most of the Honda/Acura turbo and supercharger Kit and prevents the shutdown of the engine, the pressure in the intake manifold is higher than atmospheric (impulse), the engine computer (ECU).

How does the SmartMAP?
SmartMAP links inline shares sensor (OEM) manifold absolute pressure (map) and reduces the tension of the maps, which is applied to the ECU. The value of the limit (sleeve) voltage is preset and cannot be edited.

Stock Honda/Acura NSX map sensor's output range of about 5 ± 0.5 at a high vacuum to approximately 2 .7V at atmospheric pressure (full throttle for engines with intake NSX). Turbo or supercharger installed, it will increase the pressure in the intake manifold of atmosphere and map the voltage sensor will increase over the 2 .7V. In some of the tension over the 2 .7V NSX ECU will assume that there is a problem with the sensor and turn off the engine, because under normal conditions (without turbo/SC) map output never shall not exceed approximately 2 .7V. SmartMAP model SM-300-275 engine shutdown prevents the voltage sensor on the maps by limiting the ECU to the ECU 2.75V-0/+ 0.15V.

Application for vehicle Acura/Honda
Model SmartMAP SM-300-275 was originally designed for the Acura/Honda NSX. It should also work on other vehicles of the Acura/Honda, which have a map sensor with similar output voltage as that in the Acura/Honda NSX.
